Ski Mountaineering
A nice combination of touring and easy mountaineering take you off the beaten tracks: here you will discover hidden valleys, reach secret off piste spots, long powder descents, and the odd beer afterwards !!!
Arètes de Rochefort
Got a phone call from my old friend Steph asking to come for a ski mountaineering day in the Vallée Blanche area.
We decided to start from the Aiguille du Midi lift with Yohann and ski tour towards the Arètes de Rochefort and Mont Mallet ( 4001 m) to ride the very wild glacier du Mont Mallet down to the Montenvers train.
Just an unforgettable day !
Luisin Ascent
Ski ascent of Luisin in Dents du Midi mountain range with Chamonix ski guide Clément and Richard.
Ski touring in Switzerland
The Mont Blanc mountain range shares its summits between three countries: France, Italy and switzerland.
Within one weekend ski touring or off piste skiing in Chamonix you can easily ride in these countries without having to drive at all...
Here is a video from last winter ski touring day in Switzerland with Hugh, Alison and Richard.
Chamonix- Zermatt, the Haute Route
Certainly the most famous ski treck in the Alps. Frist skied in the 1920s it became the historical reference for ski tours in the Alps.
A unique traverse from Chamonix to Zermatt in about 6 days from hut to hut. You will find here a nice film from the Haute Route showing you both landscapes and a great spirit of camaraderie.
Ski Tour in Bernese Oberland
A group of friends contacted me again last spring to organise a challenging ski touring trip in the Alps.
We finally ascended five of the most spectacular 4000'ers peaks in bernese Oberland on skis. Ober Fisherhorn, Finsteraarhorn, Grünegghorn...
A unique mountain range dedicated to ski touring on the biggest glaciers in Europe: Aletsch.
Dômes de Miages
Another Mont Blanc massif classic.
The Dômes de Miage is a great spot for spring ski touring offering a 2000'ers descent.
Steep Skiing Techniques
Damian is a strong boarder and talented climber who always wants to learn more techniques to become autonomous up on the hills. We dedicated that day to focus on specific techniques for steep slopes: abseiling, jump turns, choosing the right line...
The Glacier du Capucin is a memorable run leading us through the amazing Mer de Glace.
Aiguille Noire
The Vallée Blanche offers a wide range of ski mountaineering lines from the very popular classic way to some more challenging lines.
On that day, with my friend Benj, we to ski off the beaten tracks towards the Aiguille Noire facing the Requin hut.
